Things To Do When You’re Stuck Indoors During Winter
Mirabella Reese
When you’re stuck indoors, it can be difficult to find things to occupy your time. When I was in that situation, I took up a new crafting hobby. From my birthday previously, I was given molding clay and decided it would be a good time to try it out for the first time. Of course the average person doesn’t have clay lying around but crafting in general is a fun, therapeutic activity to occupy your time and express your creativity. I will say that the most prevalent and precious memories are sitting in front of our fireplace and television in pajamas with a cup of hot chocolate. It’s always a good idea to get cozy underneath a blanket while watching a Christmas movie (or multiple). The Christmas season is full of cheerful nostalgia, making it a perfect time to journal or write a book. Take your positive energy and put it towards something you can read and cherish later. There are so many other activities we may overlook in our daily life. Who can blame you? Life is so chaotic and we can often forget the littles things. It’s good to sit back and ground yourself by doing things you wouldn’t normally do.
